Translating the Twelve: Hosea 2:10-11

Today’s “Translating the Twelve” is Hosea 2:10-11 (2:8-9 in English)

10. Yet she did not know1 that I gave2 her the grain and the new wine and the fresh oil and increased3 the silver for her as well as gold (they offered4 them to Baal).

11. So I will return5 and take back6 my grain during its time and my fresh wine in its season. I will also snatch away7 my wool and my linen which was used to clothe8 her nakedness.
